**Note:** To use the AutoCAD raster design 2009 object enabler in a hardware (non-software) CD, you must upgrade your computer to Windows 7. You can download the AutoCAD Raster Design 2009 object enabler from the software or hardware CD that came with your copy of AutoCAD. You also need the 32-bit version of the software.
3. After installing the 32-bit version of the AutoCAD Raster Design 2009 Object Enabler on your computer, you need to launch it by double-clicking the AutoCAD Raster Design 2009 Object Enabler.exe.
4. In the AutoCAD raster design object enabler user interface, click the **Start** menu icon .
5. In the AutoCAD raster design object enabler user interface, select **Go to online help** from the menu.
1. In the online help window, select **Raster Design** from the list.
6. On the **Raster Design** Help window, in the **Launch Help** box, select **OK**.
7. When the **Raster Design** Help window closes, select the topic that you want to display by scrolling through the list.
## Activate raster design in the drawing window
1. In the AutoCAD Raster Design 2009 Object Enabler, click **Raster Design**.
2. In the Raster Design window, on the **Top** menu, click **Object**.
3. In the **Options** dialog box, click the **View** tab.
4. In the **Options** dialog box, under the **Display** heading, click the **Raster Design** tab.
5. Under **Raster Design Tab Options**, click the **Enable** radio button.
6. Uncheck the **Raster Design** check box.
7. Click **OK** to close the **Options** dialog box.
